Dianne Auclair Rocha is a visionary leader and the Senior Vice President and Therapeutic Area Head for Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CRM), at Novartis. In this role, she is responsible for the cross-functional strategy and commercialization of the current and future (10+ year) CRM pipeline, balancing near term performance and execution while shaping mid-to-long range strategy for the US business.
With a career spanning nearly three decades, Dianne has consistently demonstrated her ability to balance performance with a people-centric approach, lead through change and navigate complexity. She is renowned for her strategic acumen and her unwavering commitment to inspire teams to have an extreme external customer focus in order to drive innovation and patient impact.
Between Johnson & Johnson and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Dianne has held various leadership roles across sales, marketing, commercial strategy, and general management. Her extensive experience working across several therapeutic areas includes working in Novartis’s Global headquarters in Switzerland, serving as a point of contact for Latin American business, and completing a rotation in China.
Dianne is an active member of the healthcare community, serving on the Global Board of Directors for the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA), the Board of Directors for The HBA Foundation, and representing Novartis on the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC). In 2024, she was honored as an HBA Luminary for her dedication to developing future leaders and her impactful leadership for patients.
A graduate of Drexel University, where she played field hockey, Dianne resides in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, with her husband, Ricardo, their son, Pablo Andres, and nephew Santiago. The couple also has four older children, Angela, Danny, David, and Sebastian, who are at various stages of "adulting."
